Dr. Osman is an experienced clinician, continuing education instructor, expert witness, audit reviewer, and appeal letter specialist.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1987, followed by a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2000. Dr. Osman became Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) in 1999, with recertifications in 2009 and 2019. He also earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2010.
With over 30 years of clinical experience across multiple care settings—including acute inpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient, and home health—Dr. Osman has developed extensive expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation. His specialized experience includes managing over 3,000 joint replacement cases (knee, hip, and shoulder combined) in collaboration with more than 60 orthopedic surgeons.
Dr. Osman is a proud member of the APTA and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. His professional interests include pain management, clinical research, and patient education.
In addition to his clinical and teaching work, Dr. Osman is skilled in database programming and website development. His upcoming research project focuses on “Unveiling the Secret of A-Fib.”
A memorable highlight of his career includes treating Mike Ditka, former Chicago Bears head coach and 1985 Hall of Fame inductee.
